Collected data usage
As stated in the Terms and Conditions, we will only use the information that you have publicly published on Agora. By using Agora you expressly agree to the commercial use of your public data. These data include (subject to change with notification):
- Your public profile information. That includes your displayname, username, birthdate, location, education, the language you used, career and the links you provided.
- The thoughts, debates and questions you have posted on Agora. That includes the text, citations, sources and images of the post. The positions you have taken in debates are also included.
- The users you follow and your followers.
We will never use these data to spotlight an individual. The purpose of this collection, as stated in the Terms and Conditions, is to compute tendency indicators that will be sold as Agora products.
Any other data is used internally to optimize and secure Agora.
Controlling your information
If you are not in accordance with this Data Policy, you can delete your account at any time. By doing so, any data you have published to Agora will no longer be used commercially. Note that deleting your account does not imply a full deletion of your data. They may be kept for legal purposes or during an investigation for any violated Terms and Condition.
Agora does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete their account from our servers.
